Weruva is my favorite canned cat food and the fact that their cans are BPA-free is just one more reason!
They are even looking into putting their food in pouches, too

Hi Tracy,

I've looked for another way to ask you a question, but couldn't find any contact info. I just found out about Halo, and am transitioning my three cats from Royal Canin to Halo, dry.

I was feeding them a lot more canned food some time ago, thinking it was more natural for them--which is, from the few comments I've seen--why you recommended it.

However, my understanding is there is a correlation with certain diseases of cats, thyroid types I think, and bisphenol A (BPA) exposure. One big source in humans is from the lining of canned food. In Japan, BPA is not used in cans, and human serum levels are significantly lower than prior to its prohibition.

So, to lower both ours and our cats exposure, we have drastically reduced our canned food consumption.

I've written to Royal Canin, who said they'd get back to me, and never did, and yesterday wrote to Halo about it.

I've never seen anyone address this issue. What's your take? Frankly, I'm looking for a wet pouch type food for them as one solution.
