The Dog Bible Saves The Day

Mary Murray of the wonderful German Wirehaired Pointer Rescue in Olathe Kansas gave a copy of THE DOG BIBLE to Angela who adopted of one of the rescued dogs, Chloe, to add to the pair of pooches she already had. Angela wrote:

Chloe’s first day at Camp Bow Wow went great… they had to put her in with the highest level of play dogs. She is just a nut!

I was sad because since when Chloe jumped on Berkeley and Baker they kept growling at her or pinning her down so she would quit jumping on them. They don’t bite her but I would scold them  Anyhow… I read the The Dog Bible last night and Tracie says as long as they are not hurting each other to let them establish dominance and not to get involved… Tracie said trying to get in the middle of it can make it worse. So tried what Tracie said and didn’t interfere last night and this morning…I just looked outside and they were playing and all wrestling together …tails wagging! Success! It worked!

Mary wrote her back:

Thank you so much Angela, you are a wonderful home for Chloe. I am glad daycare went so well for her!

I love Tracie’s book. The Dog Bible is full of wonderful advice A-Z – what is tremendous about the book is that everything is covered. No problem that could possibly come up is not addressed. Tracie has Weimaraners and knows how the field dogs are. I think it is wonderful you followed her advice and yes they will teach Chloe as time goes on that will all work out between them. I am so glad things are going so well!
