Dry Dog Food for Cats?!
I want to know what Tracie thinks of what our cats eat. We feed our 3 purebred dogs Castor & Pollux organic dog food and our cats eat it too!
What would Tracie say about our cats eating dry dog food?
TIA,
Lady P.
Dear Tia,
You're pulling my leg, right? You don't honestly think I would approve of that? You cannot think that anyone would condone it??
Cats are not small dogs - they have entirely different digestive tracts and entirely different nutritional needs since they are obligate carnivores and must eat meat and meat only - no carbs, no highly processed plant matter, indigestible plant fiber, etc.
Have you been listening to CAT CHAT®? Do you know that I call ALL dry cat food "kitty crack" because it is so bad for cats and is sprayed with an addictive substance?
Any quantity of cat food is dreadful for cats. Any quantity of dry dog food is doubly dreadful.
But I'm hoping you were just kidding! If not, I beg/urge/plead-with you to call in to CAT CHAT any Wednesday night at 8 PM EST 866-675-6675 and let me help you keep your dog and cats segregated!
Best,
Tracie
