Pet Food Recall
According to the company's voice mail, the canned food called "Nature's Recipe Julienne-Cut Chicken in Gravy" has no problems and is not infected. Mercifully, this is what I've fed to my cats since they graduated to adult food. Their dry awfuls are "Max Cat Adult 'Roasted Chicken Flavor.'" I don't believe there are problems with the kibble, only the canned. If you know anything that is contrary to this information, please let me know.

Dear Nancye,
All cat foods in gravy are dreadful. Simply awful.
This brand is not part of the poison recall, but it's terrible nutrition. You end up poisoning your cats in an entirely different way. Please go to www.CatChatRadio.com, and read the Q & A's I have posted there, to hundreds of people, on many topics. Food is always the number one concern.
You must learn how to read a label.
Any "cuts & gravy-style" food is made of horrible by-products. Wheat gluten and other materials are used to bind the food together, and many cats will only lick the gravy. In effect, you've taken your cats off one junk food and moved them to another. It's like saying, "No more McDonald's everyday -- only Kentucky Fried Chicken." Please put the word out.
Until then, go to the Nutrition page of this site and download and print the very selective list of good quality foods. Not a drop of gravy amongst them.
