Here's a question I keep getting asked by my cat-owner customers and friends: Why does my cat go charging through the house right after having a bowel movement?

Dear Sandy,
Quite simply, it can feel really good to have a bowel movement -- a great relief to get it over with! Some dogs will do the same when they're off leash -- run for joy!
