My Sponsors
The following companies are my sponsors:
Platinum Performance supplements has been sponsoring DOG TALK® and its website since its first incarnation as a podcast.
Pets Best insurance discovered I was a rare voice in the media in favor of pet insurance and able to communicate the benefits of the concept – they saw I was an advocate for their industry.
Best Friends Fence makes a wonderful product I was able to use myself to enclose over 12 acres of hilly forest .
Weruva pet foods is the newest sponsor, following my saying “Weruva is the crème de la creme of cat foods” because the food is made of recognizable pieces of free range chicken breast meat (and they also do NOT make any high-profit kibble) They think entirely “outside the bag,” as everyone who listens to CAT CHAT® is urged to do).
None of these companies has any formal arrangement with me nor expects anything from me in return. I pay for my Platinum, pay for my three policies with Pets Best and buy my Weruva. What all these companies share is an appreciation for my outspokenness, my directness, my relentless pursuit of facts and the truth, and the impossibility that I would say anything I did not know to be true, nor support anything I did not believe in. In the don’t-offend-anybody world we live in, you have to love the bravery of any company that isn’t afraid of my style. Just as they support me and what I am trying to do for all pets and their people, I hope you will support these forward-thinking companies by patronizing them.
About My Sponsors
Over the years of researching THE DOG BIBLE and THE CAT BIBLE and in preparing and broadcasting DOG TALK® and CAT CHAT®, I came across products, companies and services which stood out above all others. Some I wrote about in the books or in emails, others I wrote about on my website and other internet sites, some I spoke about on the air or in public presentations. A few companies discovered I was championing them and were grateful for the unexpected endorsement, while others had no idea I was an unofficial ambassador for their product or their industry.
Over time I have begun to reach out to a select few of these companies and invited them to be a sponsor of this website. I am humbled to say that each of them was eager to have that alliance with my website, my name and what I stand for – finding out the truth for pet parents, speaking my mind without limitations, and seeking the finest in goods and services. The sponsorship of these companies allows me to continue maintaining the website with the highest standard of constantly updated content and reliability, which is costly in both time and expense because nobody pays to be linked here. In fact, nobody can pay to be on my website – every link is here because I chose them and invited them aboard, mostly because what they had to offer was public services or something unusual that might not otherwise be found. The sponsors make it possible for other companies – whether large or so small they cannot afford marketing – to find an audience here.
Unlike the majority of websites you come across, there is nothing for sale on this website – and I have no idea who “clicks” where and does what with it. I’m just putting it all out there for you and hope you’ll take advantage of it. The companies who have offered discounts to you – from X-O to Pet Food Direct to Pets Best to Weruva – all did so because they understood that my listeners and readers trust my opinion and follow my advice, which I do not give lightly. It has become another “something valuable “ I feel I can make available to you.
